ChesterBid

Sometimes a project comes along that is just pure enjoyment! The work we did for ChesterBid was just such an opportunity and took us back to college days designing fun posters for various causes. Working with ChesterBid we covered major seasonal holidays including Christmas, Halloween and Easter as well as a photography competition.

In this particular instance, our brief was to create a leaflet aimed at families for a Trick or Treat trail in Chester city centre for sweet treats and a chance to win a Halloween Build a Bear.

The competition was based on children finding a particular Halloween shapes in various colours hidden in different shops across the city centre. In each case the children would have to write down on a dotted line which shape and colour was found in each place.

We wanted to make this competition as accessible as possible, and although some children had been able to access the competition, they needed to be of an age and ability to write down the answers. PinMedia adapted the sheets so that next to each shop’s name on the sheet, all possible images were included so that, to answer the question, all the child had to do was tick the correct shape and colour. This made it possible for a far wider demographic to participate and succeed. As a family activity, this was really important as siblings of different ages could all participate, making it far easier for parents to shop and have a positive experience of visiting the city centre as a family.

ChesterBid were pleased with the improved forms and process and consequently used the same the following year for more festive family fun!
